We were allowed to spend 4 wonderful days in the tree house. Great accommodation, great food, nice people!

Our room was very small. Since we were backpacking, it was just acceptable. The reception was friendly. Although the food was very good, we found the service less than satisfactory. The breakfast was plentiful and good.

It was wonderful, we stayed in the Eliza tree house and booked breakfast. Breakfast was great and varied. The cold cuts were from regional butchers, there were different types of cheese, a choice of muesli, fresh fruit and much more. You could have tea and coffee in the pot for breakfast, just like a boiled egg, fried eggs or scrambled eggs. Lunch and dinner are delicious, seasonal and regional. The real highlight was the Eliza tree house, it is almost entirely made of wood. The walls are all clad with untreated wood and the furniture is individually designed from different types of wood. The crooked windows give the tree house a rustic feel-good atmosphere. In the bathroom, tiles were used on the floor and parts of the walls, these go well with the rest of the tree house. My husband (carpenter) said on the subject of tiles: "As little as possible, as much as necessary!" The tree houses are named Emma and Eliza and are named after the hosts' daughters. The family is very warm and accommodating. Ps: Which of you is the first to discover your plush and animal roommate? With us it was our little son.

Super delicious, good home cooking that is prepared with a lot of heart and passion and still cooked on grandma's wood stove. Beautiful rooms and (not only) for children are the two tree house apartments the absolute hammer. Perfect location for extensive hikes on the Rothaarsteig.

Family run hotel, all super nice and very friendly. We had a holiday apartment. Everything you need. The food is awesome! Tried different foods. All delicious. And the cake - a dream. Outside you can sit comfortably. We certainly were not the last time here.

Original, personal and family service. We had good-middle-class, fresh food, delicious Pinot Gris and a great, individual advice on the nightcap. Fair prices for great quality.

A lovingly run inn. Great apartment. There are even tree houses !! At breakfast we were asked which cold cuts we would like and was then freshly cut for us. Great ! We felt comfortable with the really nice and helpful young family. Absolutely to suggest !!!

Treehouse very nice. Steep stairs into the bedroom. The service was not so good it was given the key for the wrong tree house where people were still breakfast was booked the boss wanted to settle again on the day of arrival there was at 20 o'clock nothing more to eat friday evenings I found the breakfast with 11 euros for the selection would be so expensive I should make breakfast in the tree house itself in the vicinity of the inn was nothing to eat at 20 o'clock had to continue by car several villages beautiful hiking area in good weather

The service and the friendliness are indescribable! The location is the perfect starting point for many activities. We recommend.

Nice setting and good food.

We had to wait for over an hour before the first plate was served. It then took more than 10 minutes before the rest was served. When we made a remark, there was not really an apology. It was not busy in the restaurant. The food was OK, but not excellent. Overall a disappointing experience.

Kids could play at thr playground across the street and we sat outside enjouing then moment.
